Missing South African Jogger Elizabeth Moselakgomo Found Dead Days After Disappearance

Elizabeth “Tsontso” Moselakgomo, 38, has been found dead days after she went missing during her regular afternoon jog in Rhodesfield, Kempton Park, Ekurhuleni, South Africa.

Moselakgomo disappeared after leaving home for a run on Wednesday. Her family reported her missing after she failed to return.

Her body was discovered on Saturday and positively identified by her family at the Germiston mortuary on Monday, bringing a tragic end to the search for the missing runner.

The circumstances surrounding her death have raised concerns in the community, as police investigate the deaths of several women whose bodies were found in the Ekurhuleni area.

South African authorities have established a multidisciplinary task team to investigate the cases and determine whether they are connected. Police have cautioned against drawing conclusions before the investigation is completed.

Moselakgomo, described by her family as a loving mother and active athlete, is survived by her daughter and two siblings.
